Hello everyone,
i hope this is the correct forum. I am currently using 3 energy weapons officers on ship duty. do their chances of improving recharge times add up? One of them is green and two of them are white.
for example:
out of 5 attacks (=100%) there is a 20% chance of improving recharge by 20 secs PLUS a 20% change of improving recharge by 15 secs PLUS another 20% change of improving recharge by 15 secs.
or does only one chance of improving recharge apply?

Afraid I don't know the answer to that one, as I only recently learned you could slot multiple of the same Duty Officer type. The example was slotting multiple of the projectile Duty Officer, which apparently does stack.
Supposidly a future update for stowiki will include Duty Officers that stack.
In the interm I think you're down to testing...

As far as I know you can stack certain DoFF abilities like Projectile Officers. From a very reliable source a-la Lt. Moose:
And also DOFFS are important: 3x Very Rare Projectile Doffs for reducing the recharge time of torpedos and using Photon Torpedos (ACC X3) as they have the shortest recharge time.
Some types of Doffs can be slotted up to 3 times. Medic is another one that can be slotted 3 times on ground. I don't have a definitive list of the restrictions for all types yet, but I have asked the sto- wiki guys to include this info on their site in the future.

As far as I am aware, the ones that give flat bonuses stack while the ones that give a chance of causing a bonus don't insofar that the percent chances don't add up, rather it makes multiple checks (for instance if you have 3 doffs with a 10% chance of reducing a cooldoen by a few seconds, you do not have 60% chance of a proce occurring, instead the game does three checks to determine if a proc happens), the procs can stack however (2 of the 3 checks could be successful, reducing cooldown twice).
I don't have definitive verification on this, though.
