Music While Gaming.

I have been wondering what kind of music people listen to while on STO, so I felt I should post this! ;3

If you want;
Favorite style of music while gaming.
Favorite artist to listen to while gaming.
Favorite song ((Your theme song ;D)) while gaming.
If there is a reason feel free to list that too!

Skrillex!
Reptile!
Reason; I just feel epic when I'm cruising around on my alt character using an Imperial Class starship blowing people off the map. xD

Hmmm... quite honestly, I don't own an iPod or anything. Thus any music I have is from the game, but usually I have it turned down to about 10-20% volume.

Besides, I often run STO with my teamspeak playing through my computer speakers (I can't stand headphones).

It's quite important to hear what is being said in the teamspeak channel during an STF, so... sadly no music for me.

Though, if I could have music, I'd prefer instrumentals. Particularly James Horner or John Williams soundtracks. I find music with words tend to stick in my head. I wouldn't want to hear "I'm sexy and I know it..." from my background music while Mugato is giving me instructions.

That would be bad!

Usually, I listen to in-game music (e.g.: SWTOR music ftw). Otherwise, it'd most likely Juno Reactor - that's how I get crap done in gaming/programming/etc.

I listen to it sometimes when no one is on TS, usually just open up my favorites on youtube with autoplay on. The genre's vary since I like anything that sounds good to me.

I usually use the ingame music. When I do sometimes use my own music, its always classical (Due to me only owning Classical). Most likely Wagner or maybe Johann Strauss if im in a Waltzy spacy mood.

Or eine kleine nachtmusik I do like that when im flying around

I always have music in the background, using the in built teamspeak plugin it reduces the volume for me to hear what people are saying.

I always put WMP on random, meaning i get to listen to all the good songs and the rubbish i have ever bought. It is quite amusing when you go from Marilyn Manson to Gustav Leonhardt in one change.

It really varies depending on what mood I'm in, I've got a variety of music from Tool to Tchaikovsky, sometimes, like Chugster, I'll have subspace radio in the background and sometimes I also listen to BGM's from other games or films, but:-

Favourite style: I listen to all sorts but usually something energetic when I'm playing.
Favourite artist: Can't pick one
Theme song: Well when I rule the world, the Legacy of Kain theme will be my anthem, does that count

I don't put anything on if I am playing STO with a team but if I am playing with randoms, I'll stick YouTube on, same for Minecraft or any other game that doesn't require my full attention. Yeah, usually when I'm on STO, I'm multitasking, it's not a demanding game :p
