Overview

The Romulan’s are trying to retake the Vault! Obisek has diverted ships from the Reman Resistance Force to occupy the main Romulan fleet outside, use this opportunity to enter the Vault with Obisek and prevent its capture!

This is a calendar event and can only be done at certain times. It will appear on the “Today’s Events” slider but not on the expanded calendar. When in progress, you can join a queue via the “Today’s Event” box or create a private queue in the same way as STF’s or Fleet Actions. This event is available to both factions and players from either side can join together in the same way as STF’s.



You must use either a Shuttle or Fighter to participate, the following ships are allowed:-

Type 8 Shuttle - 20550 Energy Credits
Danube Class Runabout - 34250 Energy Credits
Type 10 Shuttle - C-store: DS9 Bundle
Type F Shuttle - C-store: ToS Bundle
Captain’s Yacht - Veteran Reward
Peregrine Attack Fighter - C-store: 400cp
Yellowstone Class Runabout - C-store: 400cp
Delta Class Shuttle - C-store: 400cp

To change into a shuttle without returning to a Starbase, head to the Transporter Room located on the Engineering Deck of your ships interior. You can speak to a Bridge Officer inside your shuttle to change back to your ship too.

Guide

You must defend Obisek’s shuttle while completing objectives within a time limit to progress. Each player can use Advanced Worker Bee’s to heal Obisek’s shuttle and will appear as an interaction button marked “Repair Obisek’s Ship”** but each player can only do this once. You can also repair his shuttle through Bridge Officer abilities. Obisek’s shuttle cannot be destroyed but if he takes too much damage he will cloak for a while, halting progress on his part of the objective.



Room 1

Upon entering all players will be disabled for 60 seconds to read through the briefing, this cannot be skipped. After this, a timer of 5 minutes will start, Obisek’s shuttle will move toward the door and Romulan Scorpion Fighters and Disruptor turrets will appear. Once Obisek’s shuttle reach’s the door, a progress bar will appear, defend him until it is about halfway and you will then be required to locate and remodulate an energy core, once the first one is done you will have to do so again on the other. Each energy core is guarded by Disruptor and Tractor Beam turrets, the energy cores cannot be interacted with while you are being fired upon so it is best to approach these in pairs. Once both energy cores are remodulated the progress bar above Obisek will begin moving again but Disruptor turrets on the door will activate too. Once the bar is full he will cloak and you must clear the room but note the timer is still counting down while you clear the room. It is important to know that the Scorpion fighters will respawn until Obisek’s progress bar is full and you are required to clear the room, focus on objectives and keeping Obisek’s shuttle healed rather than defeating the fighters.

You will move through a tunnel to the next room containing Disruptor turrets and Electro-plasma hazards but there is no timer.

Room 2

Once you reach the second room you will be briefed again, this time via a team vote interaction. Once all players have clicked continue, another 5 minute timer will start. This room is similar to the last, Obisek will move towards the door to open it, Romulan fighters and turrets will appear but this time there will be Bird-of-Prey’s to contend with. Once Obisek’s progress bar reaches halfway, two nodes will appear simultaneously, each defended by Disruptor and Tractor Beam turrets, after the two nodes have been interacted with, another two will appear with the same defences. Like before, it is recommended that you approach these in pairs as you are under a time limit and you cannot interact with the nodes when being fired upon. Also like before, enemies will respawn so focus on keeping Obisek’s shuttle repaired and on completing the objectives. Once Obisek’s progress bar is full you will have to clear the room and the timer will still count down until this is done, enemies will stop respawning though.

You will move through another tunnel containing Electro-plasma hazards but no enemies and there will not be a timer.

Room 3

Obisek will move to the Thalaron generator and a progress bar will appear above him while Scorpion Fighters, turrets and Bird-of-prey’s attack. Also, the Thalaron Generator will discharge at intervals, green target lines will appear in a cone shape beforehand, as there is no way to survive the discharge, move out of the way as quickly as possible. Once Obisek’s progress bar reaches a certain point, you will need to upload a virus to the Thalaron Generator, once done a D’Deridex Battleship will appear which must be defeated but will not respawn. Once Obisek’s progress bar is full, clear the room but the timer will still count down until the room is clear, then collect your reward of 1 Reman Datalog.

Reman Equipment

The Datalogs you acquire are used in Duty Officer assignments given by Duty Officers on you ship to obtain various Reman gear, all of which form a set giving extra bonuses when used together.

Known Issues, Tips and Q&A

Known Issues

There is a problem with the queue accessed via the event panel not launching properly. This does not appear to be happening when making a private room for the event.



Tips

In the final room, keep your Evasive Maneuvers ability or a Deuterium Surplus handy to move out of the Thalaron Generators range, otherwise you may not escape the blast in time.



Q&A

Q: I already have a Reman Shield from the Coliseum mission, will I need another?
A: If you obtained the Mk XI version, no, this will automatically be converted to the set piece version.

Q: You say to focus on defending Obisek and interacting with the objectives, surely we need to take out enemies too?
A: Absolutely but because of the timer, this shouldn’t be as high a priority. Turrets won’t respawn but Scorpion Fighters and Bird-of-Prey’s will, attack and defeat these between objectives and defending Obisek.
