This is just a short story or article if you will that I wrote a few months ago that I'd like to share and it's titled "She is getting sicker all the time".

My Mother is sick and she is getting sicker all the time.

At first we didn't know what it was that was making her so sick but over time we found out that it was
a virus of sorts, a type of virus that my Mothers body had never encountered before so she had no immunity to it and she is getting sicker all the time.

When she was sleeping and should have been warm, she was cold. While outside when she should have been cold, she was warm. This was playing havoc with her breathing and sometimes she found it very hard to breath at all and she is getting sicker all the time.

Many Doctors have said that they know what is causing it but don't know how to cure it. Some Doctors were simply not interested unless she had insurance and they got paid, which she didn't and they didn't. There were many other Doctors that knew she was sick but didn't care at all, I don't understand that and she is still getting sicker all the time.

Deep down my mother knew why she was so sick, for years the virus had abused and attacked her body,
her life giving blood ran thick with poison and soon there was terrible looking marks on her body,
the very air that she breathed stung her and caused her so much pain and still she is getting sicker all the time.

Now the Doctors are telling her that if this virus cannot be healed she won't last long. I don't know
what I will do without my Mother, a lot of people will be sad if she goes. For years the virus had been
pecking away at her and the Doctors looked the other way, now they have no choice but to notice the
changes in her body. The decay smells really bad and I fear soon it will be too late. Please heal my
Mother because she is getting sicker all the time.
