Hi. I'm brand new here. I'm brand new to STO for that matter.
I was pretty determined not to get pulled into the social element of STO. I mostly planned to play PvE on my own, but after seeing what y'all got going here I couldn't resist. Truth be told I'll always be a casual member at best. I have a 7 month old baby to take care of during the day and I work nights so as a rule I don't make the best teammate. I spend as much time on the foundry as I do in-game because I hate running off in the middle of missions and I get interrupted a lot.
I only wish I'd found you back in my EF days. Anyone here remember the old Space Station K7 project?
Anyway...
You've built a really great thing here. And a special kudos to your web design team.

Three, I wouldn't say I like the foundry, although it was one of the main reasons I tried STO out in the first place. As toolsets go it's without doubt the worst I've ever used. But I love telling Star Trek stories and this is really the only legal venue for doing that to a wide audience so I guess that makes it good enough.
And as much as I enjoy putting them together my missions are getting pretty mixed reviews. Most people seem to enjoy them, but the people who don't like them really hate them. I'm really only planning to crank out two more before going back to my first love, the Aurora toolset (multiplayer RPGs).
I agree stormy. Family first. Always.
But that doesn't stop me from grumbling with adolescent angst when I need to leave in the middle of a mission, and it certainly doesn't make me a first pick teammate.
