    I'm looking forward to that one. I didn't get started with the Elder Scrolls games until Morrowind, but I had an awful lot of fun playing a Dunmer Nightblade. I really hope they keep the sandbox approach of the games in the MMO. That's something that's missing from the current ones, like SWTOR or STO for that matter.

    I believe they have stated that all of the continent of Tamriel will be accessable. Some bits sound quite nice like the 100 player battles and I like the idea of 3 factions rather than the traditional red vs blue of most MMOs.

    My biggest concerns are:

    • The timeline - set thousands of years away from anything experienced in the other games. Just like with The Old Republic if it takes place so far from anything I care about why will I care about it? The answer is I likely won't because I am not connected or invested in what happens.
    • The combat - traditional turn based style rather than real time.
    • The developer - it is NOT being developed by Bethesda.

    Elder Scrolls works great as a singleplayer RPG, perhaps as a small team based RPG aswell. But I dont see how they could translate it into an MMO and still keep the essence of the Elder Scrolls series.

    But, I wont rush to judge, I'll definately give it a try. But I'm afraid that it will only confirm my concerns.
