UFP Starbase

I imagin it to be like most of the starbase social zones, banks and such, just not open to the public and maybe no as big.

Though I imagine unless they put some NPC in, the Admirals office will be very empty.

Well the Admiral's office will naturally be reserved for the President of UFP

When I read the STO post I literally jumped out of my seat! The prospect of customizable fleet starbases has to be the most exciting thing to happen since discovering STO. I really hope they make it ultra customizable so that each fleet starbase is unique. I would like the idea of the fleet purchasing shops, utilities and maybe even a holo deck with various training scenarios. What would also be awesome if you could venture inside the station through the bay doors (in your ship) but that might be a bit too far but I live in hope.

Either way I am really excited for this and can't wait for the release of season 6! When they release the starbases and our starbase is looking good, we have to have a massive party

Heres a question: Have we thought of a name for our starbase? I mean, even if the game does something lame like simply name it 'Starbase UFP', we could still come up with some spiffy name for it.

Course that may even have to wait until we see where it goes, if it's near something it would probably take on part of that name. If it's in some nameless void, which would make sense considering the volume of these things that will be around, we could probably do whatever we want.

The Starbase isn't customizable outside and in, you unlock new things for the inside and new visuals for the outside, but you can't choose as of yet

I still think we should keep it called hathaway station, in honour of our illustrious leader (and the guy who brought me into the fleet....then again, that could be a negative *insert evil laugh*)
