    im tempted to get this but having them all on DVD im not 100% committed to paying £50 for what i already own (plus i dont think the wife would be happy about it aswell)

    I pre-ordered. Had some birthday money so decided to splurg and get. Have some series on DVD but looking forward to seeing it anew.

    These are being released in Australia 1st August, and I'm really looking forward to them.

    I have all the series on DVD in the 1st release capsules (TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT)

    The difference in visuals is incredible. Honestly, the picture is so sharp it's awesome. If you have a Blu Ray player I really recommend that you get it Big Grin.

    They have done a very nice job of improving the image quality of TNG and it looks a lot better than it ever has before (much like when they re-mastered TOS). I am hoping that the quality remains as consistent throughout all of TNG, although TOS was re-mastered well I do worry about TNG somewhat since when the movies were re-mastered for HD some were massively improved where as others just didn't have the same time and effort put in to them, CBS have only been willing to show off a few very brief glimpses of TNG on Blu-ray and I am hoping that isn't because they have cut corners elsewhere.

    Although I am definitely going to purchase TNG on Blu-ray to go with my TOS and movies I think I will wait for a complete boxset. I already have all the episodes on DVD so I don't see the rush to purchase early and have to pay full price once each season comes out, much rather wait until I can pick them up either in a better value complete boxset or can purchase each season at a reduced price.

    I have it pre-ordered as well, also got the sampler arounf christmas time and this was a leaflet inside for £5 off - just send the leaflet and your proof of purchase and they send you a £5 cheque.
