..Yes, well, I am physically leaving the UK to live and work in a new country!
It's not exactly across the English Channel, so while I don't forsee any downtime or lack of activity I will be seven hours ahead of UFP time, so uh, that activity will simply be in a very different timeslot. 
Personally I've decided to throw in the towel looking for work here and accepted a position in China to teach English! Unorthodox sure, but getting paid work changes things. I was reluctant simply because UFP has become a part of my life (sad, right?) and I'd be missing out on all the great events UFP puts together - like the Fleet Day today for instance - and a lot of those high-level things are set in UFP time which I will likely miss out on in future. 
I'll be flighting over and away Wed 11th July, so perhaps the next time you see me in-game could be the last!
Long story short, I'm physically moving myself, but I'm not going anywhere anytime soon!
If..that makes sense..

Hey dude,
It's a huge decision, and it's not sad by any means. I have a lot of friends who did it fresh out of university, some moved back after getting themselves situated, but a few stayed. Buddy of mine met his wife there, which we, being understanding and mature people, teased him constantly about.

McClintock, I hope you enjoy your relocation to China. I have been looking at Universities in Japan (Doshisha University of Liberal Arts in Kyoto), so you may have people to play with once again...
Where in China will you be teaching English?

Judging from those who suddenly found themselves in a "banned region" due to the PWE acquisition of Cryptic, if you're an existing account holder in good standing then they'll add you to a white-list so you still have access.
This might only apply if you're not Silver though. You should probably file a support ticket ahead of time, just in case.

I don't think China is banned for the same reasons as banned regions such a Russia.etc

Wow, this is certainly a big move and change. Very adventurous and in tough times one has to do what one has to do. Going outside ones comfort zone takes bravery. 
There is certainly internet connectivity, but as mentioned above, I wonder if a website such as this would get censored. China's policy on censorship is pretty strange for the most part.
Nevertheless, I do wish you good fortunes on this trek of yours. Changsha is not that far from Hong Kong is it is the Changsha I am thinking of (about 650 km or so). Kind of like San Diego, CA to San Francisco, CA... a drive one could do in 6 hours.
You should keep a blog for certain, chronicling your adventures over there.
As for STO... I have a friend who went to Taiwan to teach English. He couldn't get STO, due to his IP being from a 'disallowed' country, ie Taiwan. Though he could get to PWE's STO website. Just wouldn't let him launch the game. I created him an account here and provided him the account information.
