4:10 AM - Alarm goes off. I sluggishly get out of bed, get washed & grab a muffin as i head to the shuttle port. As I get out the door, I grab the mail padd & start reading. Most of it is junk, so I wipe the padd's storage & stow the rest on my personal Access portal.

4:25 AM - I get to the shuttle port. It's almost deserted with only the staff & other people to be seen. I grab an edition of the Cape Breton Post & find a quiet little corner to read while I wait for the 5:30 to pairs.

5:15 AM - An announcement over the PA states that the 5:30 shuttle to paris will leave 5 minutes early due to a possible thunderstorm rolling into sydney. I get up from my quiet spot, tuck the paper under my arm & set off for the shuttle

5:30 AM - I'm in a shuttle from my tiny little island on the east coast(No, not PE-ON-A-STICK) to Paris. The pilot is kinda nuts & nearly crashes the shuttle into the Eifel Tower..........20 TIMES!!! We set down at the Coubertin Memorial Shuttle port Just outside Paris

5:45 AM - I grabbed the train into Paris & got off at the Eifel road station. I saw Alex Munro at a small shop buying some naughty holo-programs. I just shook my head & laughed.

6:00 AM - After taking a brisk walk, I arrive at the {UFP} Compound. I show my ID tag to the Security officer & he lets me in. I head to the Food Court to get a bite of breakfast. Scrambled eggs with fried targ meat is on my plate. Good eating. I finish breakfast & head to my office in the DC Complex. On my way out, I meet Jenson. We shoot the wind(Jenson mostly quacks, but that's what universal translators are for!) for 10 minutes as we head to our respective offices.

6:10 AM - I get to my office & start to do some paperwork. This is when I feel like i'm in an episode of 'The Office'.

7:00 AM - I meet up with the DC staff as they arrive for work & hand out duty rosters. I tell them that general reports are due in 7 days.

7:15 AM - Morning meeting with Bondgadget to go over general review of staff. About 2 hours through, we both get delirious & start acting like monkeys. 15 minutes later, we snap out of it & finish the review set for today.

9:30 AM - General Staff meeting in the Main conference hall. The topic is the revision of treaty's before the release of STO & the announcement of new ambassadors. I fell asleep half way through.

11:30 AM - After the conference, I head to lunch. I decide to head off-site & go to Bistro Hlak. I meet Telex here & we talk for a bit.

1:00 PM - A meeting with ambassadors from other clans goes quite well. We discuss amendments to treatys before STO's street date.

3:00 PM - Meeting of Department heads & their XOs. General status updates & dolling out of assignments, tasks and department reviews. I make a suggestion that a quarterly review would be most helpful in gauging performance of all dept.

5:10 PM - A meeting with Ambassadors from Various RPG-X Groups. Nothing of major concern is brought up, but it seems there's a little bit of tension in the room.

6:30 PM - The end of the work day. Most everybody heads home, but I stick around Paris to do some shopping.

8:30 PM - I beam into home, Grab a bite of dinner & head out bar hopping.

12:55 AM - I stumble back home with a girl. That's all I can remember.

MORE "A Day In The Office"!!!!

Saturday----

4:30 AM - Wake up & shower. I find out that there's treaty negotiations with Lotus fleet, so I brush up on their history.

5:00 AM - Making a bite of breakfast. As I eat, I get a call from Jenson. He alerts me to a small diplomatic 'brush fire' that needs tending to. I agree to handle it & get on the horn to the SDC head office. Within minutes, I get a call from the miffed group, stating a member of the {UFP} has been acting inappropriately on their servers. I tell the guy that it will be handled by JAG Div. as soon as the report is filed.

5:30 AM - I decide to beam into work early to take care of some leftover paperwork. One of my aides say the JAG Div. got the report & is processing the case now. Bondgadget comes in & we go over some of the talking points that will be brought up during negotiations.

5:45 AM - General assignments handed out as the staff trickles in to work. All Ambassadors are sent to the grand Conference hall to confer with the Fleet Admiral. I get paged to the harriers building for a meeting with Jenson.

6:10 AM - Meeting with Jenson goes smoothly. We talked about the situation that is in the process of being resolved. After about an hour, I was called to the Grand Conference hall for the negotiations.

7:20 AM - Negotiations begin with lotus fleet. Lots of banter back & forth. Someone nearly killed me when I tripped over someone's long hair. The negotiations end at 12:35 & I head to find grub.

12:40 PM - I finally grab lunch, but I'm called to the JAG's Chambers to record a statement for a possible Court-Marshal. After this, I duck out of work & head home & get ready for a reception in honor of Negotiations with Lotus fleet

=AFTER MY VACATION=
-Sunday-

5:30 AM - I wake up & look at the clock, wondering why I'm up so early. I get a shower, throw my casual uniform on & head to work early.

6:30 AM - Finally got to work, with the traffic accident on the way here tying me up. I meet with the CoS to make up a work roster, then I head to the coffee shop to grab my fix.

7:00 AM - In my office, going over treaties for the next 2 hours until Bond comes in. Already falling asleep from reading line after line, after unending line. God, I feel like a borg!! The cycle breaks when an campus wide PA announcement told all senior staff to report to the UFPAC Theater.

11:20 AM - I'm at the theater watching a safety video on how NOT to hold a phaser. I'm thinking of clocking out early.

12:11 PM - Finally, the video ends & i'm back in Our SDC Building. Me & bond talk about current relations with groups. He gives me a list of groups that have been deemed prudent to avoid contact with & tells me to attach this to the staff bulletin.

1:00 PM - General staff meeting in the conference room. The usual stuff is talked on. I bring up that a week of open vacation time is up for anyone who wants it starting after the next roll call. The meeting finishes up & most of the staff goes home. I stick around to have lunch & make a few calls to outside groups.

2:05 PM - I clock out & head home.
