If you could choose a character from all the Trek shows to fill each senior officer position aboard a starship who would you pick? (In this case it is assumed all choices would be at their prime and aware of everything relevant to performing their duties regardless of time period.)

In my eyes its either Kirk of Picard for capaint reason being, Sisko is more political while Janeway got lost in the Delta Quadrant. Riker and Picard will always make the prefect captain / first officer combo. Leforge over scotty just because he is not up on the times to be a on the spot problem solver in his age. Spock is more useful as a science officer then anyone ever in starfleet. Of course you need the Doctor in sickbay. I was kind of stuck between Harry Kim and Data. But data just knows everything and can process faster then the computer on starships.

It may be slightly controversial to choose Jellico as the Captain, but I chose him because he has one of the most authoritarian leadership styles which I really admired; especially when dealing with the likes of Riker and Troi. Worf would be the First Officer since he has everything which a first officer should have e.g. discipline and leadership. I picked Archer as the helmsman because it was clear in the Enterprise episodes which featured the prototype launches that he had the skill of an excellent helmsman like that of Paris, but with the correct attitude and behaviour. Scotty would be Chief Engineer since there was nothing he couldn’t fix. Natasha Yar would be Chief Tactical Officer since she has the experience of being a Soldier and she was also very brave. Spock would be Science, that’s just Logical. EMH was the greatest character in Voyager, although it was hard to pick him over Bashier. And well every crew needs a Data.

I'd do almost this exact layout except maybe Bones for medical. I also don't know squat about Helm officers in the movies/shows so I'd put either the woman from Insurrection (Perim, Stephanie Niznik, she was cute) or Tommy from Galaxy Quest in that slot.
