Greeting
If anyone here has ordered the Star Trek: The Next Generation - Season 1 blu ray they are being recalled due to a sound error.
The manufacturer has confirmed the following technical issues with this product. The sound has been incorrectly mapped on some episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation - Season One on Blu-ray. This error will impact customers using a 7.1 or 5.1 Surround Sound environment. Until corrected discs are available, we have removed the product from sale. We are working to resolve this and have contacted customers who have previously purchased this title from Amazon.co.uk.
If its in transit you might as well not bother opening it and just sending it back for a replacement!

I pre-ordered it and Amazon have told me that they are sending me a new one, I don't even have to send it back.
Does anyone know which parts have a sound error? I have only got up to Heart of Glory.

From what i have read the audio problems affect 7 episodes. On Encounter At Farpoint the centre channel on the HD Master Audio 7.1 mix is duplicated in the front right - sounds bloody awful. Particularly poor show as it's correct on the sampler disc.
On Hide And Q, Haven, The Big Goodbye, Datalore, 11001001 and Too Short A Season the centre channel is duplicated in both the front left and front right!
