From David Leavitt at Examiner.com, Namco Bandai has released a new set of screenshots and an updated game trailer for their upcoming 2013 PC/Xbox/PS3 release, "Star Trek," based entirely upon the J.J. Abrahms' reboot movie from 2009.
Actors Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Simon Pegg, and Anton Yelchin are reprising their roles from the movie. It was revealed at E3 2012 that the game's antagonists will be the Gorn. The game's plot is reported to take place between the movie and its sequel, which is also to be released next year.
The new trailer, with in-game scenes, is below:

It looks far too Violent for Star Trek. What happend about "These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise, its five year mission to seek out new life, new civilisations; to boldly go where no man has gone before"?
All I got from that was pew pew and bang, I'm afraid that is not the reason why I love Star Trek. I love Star Trek because it asks important questions and answers some as well.
I would prefer if these companies (Bad Robot & Namico Bandi) would be true to the idea of Star Trek, rather than attempt to turn it into a futile pew, pew, bang, bang franchise. Which goes against everything its creator Gene Roddenberry Created.
Yes Star Trek has to be changed for today's audiance, It is unlikely that the modern audiance would be able to watch something like Voyager or Next Generation. That does not mean Star Trek should be changed into something which can't be recognised as Star Trek. I for one do not want to see Star Trek become a stupid soap oprea.

I have to agree with this. That looked more like someone wanted to make call of duty in space. And the gorn yikes they must have a high dentist bill, They look like something from men in black lol. 
I really wish infinite space wasn't canceled

I'm afraid I don't do any PvP, so on STO i'm exactly how a Starfleet Captain should be. Phasers on Stun and help all the hurt people
