Pioneer Class - Darkaiz's new project

HEEEEEY guys! Long time no see! I've been pretty busy these last months... (I work during the night)

EDIT:
Length: 611 M
Width 304.7 M
Height: 73.7 M

DECKS: 17 (Height standard for each deck is 4 meters.)

But anyways, today (January 2nd) is my 3rd anniversary of officially joining the fleet, so I thought it'd be a good time to post some images on my latest project!

I don't know if anyone still remembers the good ol' Starshine, but this new one is on the same level of "seriousness"

And a little about the ship;
She was first suggested in 2391 but it took untill 2412-13 before the first ship was completed.

I really dont know how people can take MS Paint and do this stuff. I can't even do it with stuff like Photoshop. I lose at art apparently.

This is quite impressive for something just made in Paint. Starship design isn't bad either, nice work.

I really rather like this design Darkaiz, a nice update/variant to the akira class, if you dont mind once I get maya access back and my new computer (should be next monday ) i'd like to have a go at modeling this one

Sounds nice. I've been trying to get "Solidworks" 3D (I've got a techical education in that program) for years now...

I'm still having some issues with the side-view of the ship, but I'm quite certain I'll have them fixed within a week or so.

Extremely Nice design....BUT, I'd do the nacelles a touch wider.

I've changed the nacelles a tiny bit and calculated the ships length to be 611meters and the width to 304.7 meters.
I've also made the nacelle-arms wider.

Edit: Height is 73.7 meters.
Each pixel is equivalent to 0.3138 meters, not 3.1865 meters as i specified in the picture below.

I've made two slightly different layouts of the bridge.
Option 1 looks more "harmonious" whilst option 2 has a bigger feeling of space due to the larger open area in front of the captain.
(TL = Turbolift)

If you wonder what that big round thing is... It's a 3D viewscreen.
I had this in mind even before I saw "Avatar 3D", but for those of you who have seen that movie; it's kinda like the viewscreen the humans use when looking at the ore deposits in the ground
