I wasn't sure where to post this question in the forums, so I hope this is the right place. Looked like the best place to me.
Ok, I understand the rule about not being a member of another Star Trek gaming community or STO Fleet. But how does it affect other groups, say guilds for fantasy games? I and some friends play the game Adventure Quest Worlds by Artix Entertainment. Recently they began incorporating new guild features in their game like how Cryptic has done for fleets in STO. And my friends are wanting us to get together and form our own little guild for AQW. So if I were to join them, would that also go against the UFP rule or would it be ok?
And would it be against the rules if I were to join another guild in a game like Lord of the Rings Online?
Until I know for sure though I won't join them. I would really appreciate some help with my dilemma.
Thank you.
I'm no person of authority, although since it's not a Trek game, i wouldn't see an issue since it doesn't violate the rules.

That's correct - the rule only applies for Star Trek games.

Ok. That is what I thought, but I am still new enough to the {UFP} that I did not know for sure. I just wanted to make sure.
Thank you for answering my questions.
