The Monarch
The crew of the USS August will travel to the Hyrundar system, a few days from their last transwarp breadcrumb beacon, making another first contact with a warp-capable system. The system has not reached out to the Federation, but they would be a valuable ally. Little do the crew know that this system has a lot more complexities than initially thought...
More details on this mission will be posted either monthly or at its completion.

"We have been able to determine a lot in a large amount of time. The Hynarch are warp capable, but they were not first contact. Some stranded El Aurians had gotten to them first... with a Klingon ship. Further, the Premier of this rebellion that capture our own LtCmdr Davowski, was infected with an insect of some sort. Sounds familiar... Regardless, all seems to be wrapping up well and I will have a full, lengthy report for Starfleet and the Diplomatic Corps soon. Greener out."
((OOC: This mission is almost at an end. A few JPs to wrap up some loose ends this week and hopefully we can cut it off done! ))

"All is well and the crew is returning to normal. Commander Davowski is back on his feet, and the ship has been outfitted with some of the new technologies from the Hynarch, mostly surrounding their energy efficiencies. We will test them and then provide full reports to Starfleet. This is exactly why we are out here - make new friends and bring resources to the Federation to help bring peace to the galaxy at war."
"Incidentally, there was a Klingon ship found there from a stranded El'Aurian - I have send Commander Stark back with that ship and a skeleton crew, on an encoded cloak frequency, to Sol. She will be re-assigned after that. On a brighter note, I get to do one of the best parts of my job - rewards. And we have a few. And I am, as always, proud of my crew. And thus the August will be on her way, in search of the next friend of the Federation."
