I seem to be unable to play any games and recently the problem has escalated to any media whatsoever...
I can get to the log in screen of a game, or 10 minutes into a video and it will just crash and give me a horrible blue screen of death.

Bluescrren errors typically mean hardware or driver issues (though it could also be software) i have look around see what find out for you

server, sounds like it is something to do with your graphics card. There are 3 possibilities:
1 - Driver needs updating
2 - Card is physically damaged
3 - Driver conflict
if you have an on board graphics card , the drivers may be conflicting. You can check this by changing to the on board card (This will also prove your other graphics card driver)
You can also try updating the drivers...
To test the graphics card you can download a program called furmark (http://www.freewarefiles.com/FurMark_program_42681.html) if it fails after all drivers have been updated and on board card has been disabled, then it is likely that the card is damaged.

Well GMAs are a bit of a pain when it comes to diagnosing since their problems can be anything to do with the GMA Unit itself or anything at all to do with the RAM(Memory) within the system. GMAs don't have their own memory they are just small dedicated processors which have been de-clocked to lower heat expenditure but perform enough to play low graphic applications. That's not to say you can't play high gfx games on them, its just that you lower the life expectancy considerably when you do.
First thing you may wish to try is http://www.cpuid.com. It has a GFX benchmarker and a RAM tester. Your results will let us know what to do from there.
