With the upcoming release of Star Trek Online right around the corner, the current {UFP} signatures have been given quite a bit of an update, bringing in a new standard of signature. Some of you may have already noticed the new signature being trialled on a temporary basis by Admirals' Chris5626 and Sharpkiller, ready for when the new signature will become available in February.

The image below, explains various components of the signature.

Standard Signature

This is a standardized signature (medal section not included) that most users will be displaying, including colours and features such as positions and recruting pips.

cool, So could we say Send a Picture of a Famous Person say David Tennant Or David Hasslehoff And describe Variations Between The Famous person they most look like and the Character you want. Alternatively Could we send A Picture of ourselves and Have an STO character made to resemble our person. Perhaps this could be implemented on the request form

These are possibilities indeed, but they are at the sig maker's discretion. We don't know how many people we'll be fielding who don't have access to STO, and while STO's character creator is quite powerful, it's quite a time consuming task.
I'd say play it by ear for now.

Read through the image in the post, this issue is explained. Only STO generated characters will be used.

Will it be possible for us to stick with the current 'standard' signature and choose to have our STO persona inserted (or stick with the old one and leave it as is)?
