I was finishing up some chores and allowing my kids Son(3-4) Daughter(4-5) some television time while I worked. I found a kid movie on one of the channels called Bambi 2. (Yes, I'm a sadist. They have seen Bambi 1 and I intend to make them watch old yeller.(MUwhahahaha) anyhow. A few moments into the movie and my daughter screams out "Dad! Dad! It's Captain Peekard!" sure enough, Sir Patrick Stewart was a voice talent of one of the characters, the prince(Bambi's father) Now the pride I hold that my daughter has seen enough Star Trek TNG with me to know who's voice it was. Is incredible.
I am currently making plans to test her knowledge of other actors. Reading Rainbow here we come!

wow Thats great. Sir Patrick Stewart does have an iconic tenor like voice, but even so recognising it at that age is fantastic.
On another note Star Trek is great for teaching Children morals, The drumhead for example is a instant favourite of mine.:mrgreen:

Hehe, funny you should mention that one Herm as Drumhead is my favorite episode. I really enjoy the ethical ambiguity in it.
