Hi folks,

It's been a long time but both me and Sythia logged in last night and it looks like we'll be playing again
This however leaves a few questions for us, some for the Fleet and some about STO in general so I hope you don't mind if I put them here as I don't have access yet to other sections of the forum.

Firstly about the Fleet, how do we un-retire and also rejoin the Fleet in game as I was in UFP Reserves when I checked last night (this goes for my Klingon character as well)?
Next game questions, oh my how much have they added! I notice there is the Fleet Starbase now and things like fleet ships and fleet duty officers, what is the difference with these from normal ones and how do you get them?

Fleet Duty Officers are just duty officers you can buy with Fleet Credits. I'm not aware of any particular superior qualities.

Fleet Ships are higher quality versions of existing ships, generally with +10% hull and shields as well as an additional console slot. They're acquired in our Starbase with Fleet Credits and Fleet Ship Modules as long as we have the provisions for it.

Fleet Credits are earned by Contributing to Starbase Projects. Depending on the particular project, they may require things like Fleet Marks, dilithium, categories of DOffs (Colonists, Civilians, Non-Civilians, Engineering Department, etc.,) commodities, data samples, or items (like Large Hypos).

Fleet Marks are acquired through certain missions, and are essentially another reputation currency like Omega Marks or Romulan Marks (see: Reputation System).

Fleet Ship Modules are purchased from the C-Store for 500 Zen ($5) each, or off the Exchange. You need 4 per ship, or 1 if you already own the C-Store version of the ship. Provisions are part of our Fleet "inventory", and are generated with certain projects.

PS: Note that the Reputation System is how you get end-game gear now, as well as unlock items (like Romulan Plasma Cannons) to your personal store. There's also 1 new ability and 4 passive abilities gained as you advance in the system.
