Name of the Future Romulans UFP Faction

Hello,
We've learned today that Romulan faction is coming in 2 months around.
We have UFP for Federation and House of Kular for Klingons, we need now to think about the name for the Romulan faction.

I tought that even if I'm only Petty Officer 2nd Class I could make this thread as we have only 2 months to find a good name.

I'd like to see and hear some opinions on a back story for the new Romulan fleet.

The Federation speaks for itself. Our Klingon House of Kular even has one to a degree (BTW, I have always liked Gowron, be it his larger than life eyes or the way he always said "Worf!" with such gusto befitting a Klingon). Well, it's based on an existing house in the Star Trek semi-canon universe.

What I don't want to see is Tal Shiar as I suspect there will be 38,282 new fleets with that as a name or some connection with it. I would want our Romulan fleet to stand out above the rest like our other sister fleets.

Thus, perhaps something along the lines of with the new storyline for Romulan based on the cooperation on New Romulus. I'm certainly no Romulan expert but some neat and original storyline should be possible, no?

I agree that Tal Shiar would be too obvious. Thankfully, there's plenty of time to make a thoughtful selection. I look forward to seeing everyone's suggests.

Think about it: The Intergallactic House of Kains!

Plus, and this is the evil part, the name IHOK means they will have another name they can't pronounced at UFPAC!

A few details still need to be ironed out by SFC before we can start looking into this. Rest assured, if divisional status is confirmed, you guys will be able to decide on the name as you did with our Klingon faction. Until then keep an eye out for official threads pertaining to this from SFC.

You'd have to do something truly (mera.. uhh merot, uhm... meri oh gosh!) meritorious(!) in order to have your name be part of the fleet's name

Looking up a few Romulan words I found the following.

Rihan - Romulus
Mol'Rihan- New Romulus

Rihanha- Romulan singular
Rihannsu- Romulan plural

Rei'karan- Imperial Legion
Karanha- Legionarre

Galae- Fleet

Tal Prai'ex- Praetorian Guard in space

So if my understanding is right.

Mol'Rihannsu Rei'Galae would mean New Romulan Imperial Fleet. Mol'Rhinnsu Tal Prai'ex would mean New Romulan Praetorian Guard. Anyone understand things better that can shed light?

Since IHOP's catch phrase is "Come Hungry, Leave Happy," I would guess that IHOK's would be "Approach Stealthy, Conquer Completely?" or somethign to that affect...

I like the direction James is pitching. Will be interested to see how well developed the new faction is to see if it deserves it's own department within the fleet. I noticed that the advertisement also mentions leveling up from 1-50 in all 3 factions, so I'm also curious to see what it has in store for our warriers in the House of Kular.

For anyone interested in further materials, you might check out The Way of D'era for the Last Unicorn RPG tabletop games. Fantastic information, including about how the military is formed and such. Not sure if it is 100% canon, but it's great stuff. Even came with posters of the uniforms, ships, planets, etc. Unfortunately, it does not have any good "names" for a fleet/division. There are things like "Star Navy" and "Tal'diann" (a big "internal affairs" type division in the empire), but those are terms relating to the RSE of the 24th century.

But good nonetheless!
