LynxMukka began the meeting and welcomed those that attended the Fleet Meeting for March 2013. He later explained the general outline for the meeting, to which can be listened to in the recording.

FLEET ADMIRAL REPORT

• Nothing to report.

FLEET CHIEF OF STAFF REPORT

• LynxMukka started by reminding members that the UFPAC is indeed tomorrow.
• The Corporate Website should be fully up in the coming days.
• Work on the Federation Herald project continues, if anyone is interested in a position, please check the Jobs forum.
• Bondgadget76 is retiring from Starfleet Command due to having growing committments in real life.

SECRETARY OF DEFENCE REPORT

• Mikester92 introduced himself and then asked members to look at our main STO Recruitment thread and make sure its bumped at intervals that keep it on the first page.
• Mikester92 thanked SFHQ for getting all their recommendations for the UFPAC in on time.
• Mikester also asked members to vote on the STO Romulans poll in the Member Surveys forum, to see which faction members are interested in placing their Romulan characters.
• Mikester92 Also asked members to vote in the Romulan Division name thread.

SECRETARIES OF DEVELOPMENT & TECHNOLOGY REPORTS

• Sharpkiller talked about the two periods recently of extended downtime of the {UFP} server. Since then, the fleet has developed better ways of recovering from such incidents in the future. As a result, part of this process, was the purchase of a low-end, cheap server which will serve as a remote backup server.
• In the future, we'll be looking at downgrading our server in the Autumn, in order to reduce costs.
• The team is also looking into having automatically generated medal bars based on UFPACs etc for members signatures.
• Begotten asked a question with regards to the STO Gateway. Apparently there were issues with connecting to it. It's hoped Cryptic will create an API in order for fleets to connect to it and use the information on there.

SECRETARY OF EDUCATION REPORT

• The RSO system continues to go well. With the system designed to cater for members who have just joined the fleet.
• The Academy exams have been fully automated and overhauled. Many people have experimented and re-taken their exams in order to try out the new system.
• Some peoples course credit was removed in order for them to re-complete the exams. If you wish it to be restored again, please contact Lazereth in a forum PM.
• Hightower retired recently from the fleet and therefore now leaves the SFA XO position open. Applications will start being received in 2 weeks time.

STARFLEET DIPLOMATIC CORPS

• Collier introduced himself. The department now has a good work to staff ratio. There has been some restructuring recently, including the development of a handbook and reorganisation of forums etc.
• Relations are progressing well with other fleets, with a treaty recently being signed with 12th Fleet.
• Ben Hurley then introduced himself. Hermanator is in the midst of planning a Joint Fleet Event for the 24th of May 2013, just in time for the release of the Romulan faction.
• There have been issues contacting a KDF fleet, therefore we're trying other Klingon side Joint Fleet Events.

STARFLEET OPERATIONS REPORT

• Things are still going well, with events being posted regularly. Contact Seeker, Adster or Wixiban if you wish to become an Event Officer etc.
• The Banking system is going well, there will be some downtime soon due to an update taking place. Seeker asked if people could still contribute anything they wish to, as every little helps.
• Feedback directly related to the division, is welcomed by any member. Seeker is creating a thread in the division forum tomorrow in order for people to voice their opinions. If people don't wish to use the thread, contact Seeker privately on the forums.
• The Starbase poll was recently put up and Seeker will be contacting LynxMukka tomorrow to find how things roll from there.

HOUSE OF KULAR REPORT

• Dodgers introduced himself and then asked members to donate a little more towards the Klingon Starbase projects.
• Noram states that the Klingon Embassy is now ready to be upgraded to Tier 3.
• Various battle officers have come on board and been performing well so far.

ELITE STRIKE FORCE REPORT

• Jake Tyler introduced himself, aided by Three of Seven. Things have been progressing well since the creation of the division.
• A range of members have successfully joined the division, perhaps partly down to the new Squadron 47 which will focus on developing peoples skills in STO PvP.
• The Black-Ops team will be posting up guides, hints and tips soon.
• In the near future, ESF is looking to open their TeamSpeak channel on a Sunday in order to allow members to join in the chat, ask for help.

STARFLEET HARRIERS REPORT

• Caymen Greener introduced himself and provided a quick overview of the roleplay division.
• He thanked Torinth for his help in setting up a three parter roleplay in the RPG-X Mod, with the first part taking place next Saturday.
• There are plans to look into finally roleplaying in Star Trek Online, due to some new roleplay features being implemented by Cryptic.

STARFLEET RESERVES REPORT

• No report.
• Terrell raised the issue of Strategem that's recently been discussed on the forums again. Terrell briefly explained what it would be. He answered various questions relating to supporting Armada II Fleet Ops mod etc in Strategem.

No one had anything to bring up.



No member issues were raised.



Dalad had a question to ask towards the Academy. His question was whether more information could be provided in the Starfleet Academy forum for new members. Other questions were asked with regards to whether it was possible to add additional courses to the system. Lazereth answered by stating that there were previously more specialist courses, but there were issues with inconsistencies and keeping them up-to-date, which meant they were dropped.

A question was asked by Fisher in regards to the fleet generating a monthly report on statistics. Mikester answered suggesting to propose it since it would be an additional responsibility added to their duties.

• The UFPAC will be taking place tomorrow at 21:30 UFPTIME, make sure to attend!
• The Academy XO position will open in the next two weeks.
• A Joint Fleet Event for Bridge Commander is coming up, please look in Announcements and the events system.
• STF Sunday is on this Sunday, as well as every Sunday.
• Cehus advertised his Character Creator Challenge competition, which is into its last day to enter!

Mikester92 raised the issue of the Romulan faction in Star Trek Online, where further details were announced on that today. He asked members to provide their views.
