Wikis are a vast storehouse of player contributed infomation. I have, myself, utilized them for many past MMOs and I foresee utilizing them extensively in STO. However, the game is brand new and wikis take time to mature and grow. So, with that, Im going to make the following suggestion to the community.

Pick a topic, any topic. Anything will do. Items, equipment, consumables, ships, npcs, careers, skills, stats, even tribbles will work. Learn everything you can about it. Everything from lore, to mechanics, to applicable tips and tricks. Then create or edit a page on your STO wiki of choice and contribute your knowledge to the collected wisdom of the community as a whole.

Even if theres a page with a lot of information, read through it all. If there is something you can correct or add to then make the edits.

As an example, Im picking quantum torpedoes. Im sure there is already plenty of information out there about them, but Ill still delve deep into the mechanics and pull up whatever I can to add to the pages. From there Ill do the same to each of the projectile weapons. Simply because I love 9k crits.

Great idea Roshinko, (and yay 9k crits).
Not going to work today, calling in with a screeching case of harpies
