This is Brendon, I 1 of 5 Council Members within Nova Fleet. I have something I would like to ask, and I hope this wont be to much trouble, and I would like to explain somethings happening within Nova and hopefully this may make sense. : )

So right now Nova Fleet is in Diplomatic talks with another Fleet, that I am conducting. I do not want to become to spread thin in things I have to get done at once. I also am working on a "Commendation Program" within Nova, this program allows officers to make requests on behalf of other members, and will be considered by the Council. I was going to attempt to try and make these on my own, then i had the idea, well why not look around maybe someone has already made exactly what I am looking for? Now Nova Fleet is a unique Fleet in its own way as every Fleet is. And I as of now humbly come in consideration for the artist and creators, to ask if it would be appropriate, from one Federation fleet to another, if maybe we could adopt the Medals that are used in "The United federation of Planets".

I also want to point out I really look forward, and hope that our Fleets could continue with and hold more talk about a future Alliance. I just hope you can understand that as of right now I have a lot on my plate between real life and what projects I am working on within Nova currently that I feel I am at a limit and need some time to finish what things I am currently working on with the UF and everything else. And then I will defiantly be coming back more intently to hold more Alliance talks.

I hope I don't come off as being rude with this weird request, but when I saw those medals you have that are able to be acquired within your Fleet my jaw dropped and I was like.. Those Medals are so BEAUTIFUL!! @__@ ... Im a Artist myself and I love seeing great pieces of work and design.

I'm sure I may have forgot to include something in this, but I hope I hit all the notes I needed to. I've just been flooded with everything going on.

Unfortunately though, I cannot give permission for those rank images to be used, since they were designed to be unique to the {UFP} only and come under copyright. We take pride in offering something different that can't be seen elsewhere which by the sounds of it you have the same principles, so I hope you can understand our stance on the issue.

That's completely understandable! They are great pieces of work. And we wont use them, I figured It couldn't hurt to ask, Lol. And for Fleet events I really would enjoy getting something liek that going, I am talking with another Fleet called the [UF]. I have a really good friend there by the name of Korbin, in game. I've known him since launch when we were back in Omega Fleet. :3 But I also want to say that I dont make it my mission to find other Fleets and assimilate things from their Fleets into ours, I jsut happen to find those amazing award you guys have and figured I ask. What I really look for in a Fleet, are the moments, and the times, from the bad to the good. And how we, and they play together and work together.

As far as the [UF] goes I can't really talk about it in detail, but If its at all possible, I may be able to find more time than I thought to also talk with you all here. And maybe we could meet up and run some event stuff. : ) I really want to expose my Fleet to a large group of Officers and go out on missions together. My biggest concern though is our Fleet has a J.A.G. Office that is there to protect our players, and the Star Trek Online community in general. Our J.A.G. Officers are familiar with the Perfect Worlds Code of conduct. And our Fleets. So my concern with even the [UF] and other future allied Fleets is if maybe we could work something out to where our JAG officers could even help to protect their members if something were to happen. And also if in these events would the JAG be allowed to help out to keep the peace between officers. Our Chief JAG officer has a Criminal Justice Degree, and holds a very non bias view. As well as his recent deputy has been doing a very good job ever since his promotion. So I hope this gives you some food for thought maybe, and maybe you could throw some ideas back at me! : D I'm all ears, I just like to make sure our players are protected as best as possible, from outside of the Fleet and each other. I also would like to point out that In Nova, the Council is not above the J.A.G. and are able to be reprimanded, on a couple occasions they have stepped up and held their own to us to put us back in our place on certain issues. So it is a very strong program, and maybe you all have something similar.

But all this is just kinda hypothetical and jsut an idea to throw out to get the brain juices flowin'. ;'D

Also I would like to share something I offer to our Fleeties and my personnal friends.

I have been a educator in STO about combat stuffs for over a year now, with providing guidance and advice for various playstyles and preferences and I accommodate as best I can. I have knowledge of all 3 Fields from Science, Tactical and Engineering. I have helped from skill specs, to Boffs to doffs and Weapon systems and Core systems on various set ups, for STF's to PVP. I do not know everything there is to know, but I do like to offer assistance to those who are willing to take the advice and Training. I am also selective of who I help, because I have helped people before who end up just stop playing the game and I completely refit them and it took like 4 hours of just setting the ship up then Training for time after that... So I like to get to know someone a little bit before hand before anything. I passionately enjoy helping others like this and I get a rush from teaching to folks and I like to follow up on my "Students" and see how things are going, and over the process of several months, and even a year now for some, to keep training and making a over all better experience for them and us in game.

Also we do not have the resources... to make a full website.(Your website is AMAZING) BUT we do really enjoy using Facebook. We have a page set up with the [UF], and practically all our members have made "Fake" accounts, logging in as their Main Character, and using that on our pages. We have pages for Specific other Fleets where we hold diplomatic talks in private with only the Council in them and the respectable parties. We have a page for the JAG office with there open door policy and we have documents in them explaining their function and can and can not do's. Some members just use there real Facebook account because they are not worried about it. The other feature we really enjoy about facebook is that a lot of our memebrs get the facebook app on there mobile phones and can get almost instant updates on posts and can chat on fb with other members etc etc.

Also want to point out that i have bridge Commander! And i would love to play that with some people... Ive bene DIEING to paly with others on it. But I only enjoy the game when i am in Turky shoot, and Bridges are online, so I can be on the bridge. And I do prefer flying around some maps, than shooting and blowing things up all the time.

Thats great! We have a good few people who play Bridge Commander every thursday or so. I'm also planning a Joint fleet event for Bridge commander. When I get the dates, i'll speak to your Ambassador about inviting you guys, thats when you get an Ambassador.
