Minecraft Titan Survival: Themed Roleplay Part II (Cast Your Vote!)

Hey all,

So i've gauged quite a bit of interest in having another survival server in the style of our Medieval October Server, which was quite popular. Tragically that server's been lost and so we're only left with our creative server.

Torinth, Lazereth and I figured to make things novel and new we'd present a few different themes apart from the standard medieval theme that we use by default.

If those interested in participating in this survival rehash could cast their votes by Friday morning then i'll see what we can do to set up a new server, economy, and professions list. Depending on the amount of votes and interest we have, I may end up picking the two top themes to create two civilizations/groups; that way we can fiddle around more with trade, diplomacy, war and olympic games.

This vote will also allow me to research for a suitable biome seed and texture pack.

Roman theme! I've always been fascinated by Roman architecture

Then we could also have the Roman Empire vs Carthaginian Empire (Egypt etc) like in real life.

Egyptian all the way! the things you could make would just be awesome, Pyramids with nice little booby traps, nice little markets and such !

I believe the texture we used for Titan last time would work nicely for Egyptian theme. Shall try and find an updated link and see what it looks like, although I do like the one in the actual image mike used as an example, love the hyroglphics!

this texture pack seems really nice. and compatible with 1.5 and future 1.6 updates.

Should be suitable for the server we plan to use.

The server is vanilla an un-modded? I'd love to join you guys

And I voted Egyptian as well. Always wanted to build Egyptian architecture with a group!

I believe when this happens we'll have various server mods, like currency and such, things that made the last Titan server awesome.

Just looking around at texture packs, and the Dokucraft Light pack seems to be ideal for this

Oh nice, I didn't know that Doku texture packs were still around. That Dokucraft was the first texure pack I ever messed around with, although for our YouTube videos we usually use Sphax or PureDB.

This sounds like a lot of fun, I'm in!
I'm sure I can speak for {UFP}Peent as well, would be a nice distraction from the stuff we have been doing.

Sphax is used alot but not suitable for stuff like Medieval RP etc.
