At least CBS are consistent in their failure to produce decent quality Star Trek merchandise. I suppose we should be thankful for that?

Now, if I were to subscribe now, would I get the ent-D first, or would I get the issue that everyone else is getting at the same time?

At the moment when you subscribe you can pick which issue you start from. I would recommend going out and buying part 1 (only £1.99!) and seeing what you think, if you like it and want to subscribe then I would subscribe and select to start your subscription from issue 2.

At the moment it seems to just be the UK, Ireland and in October the US. That said there is something on their website where you can register your interest in having it distributed in another country. I am guessing if they see enough interest they will look at releasing it in those nations as well. I will try and find the link for you.

On the main page about 5/6ths down just below the youtube video of the UK tv advert it says "Not in the UK or Ireland?" that is where you want to put your details.

I sent Mrs Collier out to grab me one and she couldn't find it anywhere half tempted to hobble into town myself but I'd probably get in trouble :p

I'll be subscribing though. The same company produces a collection of Batmobiles which I've subscribed to (y'know, nostalgia for my crime fighting days) and so far I've liked the quality and detail of the models, fairly certain I'll enjoy these too.

I subscribed late for the Batmobile collection and mine started from issue 1. First few batches came slightly more frequently until I caught up.

As for taking them out of the box, a toy is no good if you don't play with it, it's only logical my dear Captain's :p

All too true. I didn't bother with the Batmobile collection as I really only wanted 2 of the models. I did however subscribe to the James Bond Car collection when this company released it and the quality is fantastic. For there being only 23 James Bond films the company did manage to squeeze 127 issues of the collection.

Got my magazine today, was very impressed with the model. Very accurate and good quality. My only issue is the pricing, it's very expensive and I really can't justify it after the next issue, especially with so many things to buy for the flat and paying for bills etc. Very crafty with the pricing, £1.99 for first issue, £5.99 for second then bam £9.99 each. A shame since the D'Deridex is in issue 5 . At least I'll have the Galaxy and Connie though .

That dedication plaque is freaking awesome btw, would love that!

They are a bit pricey but it might be worth just buying it for specific ships you want. I'm going to subscribe to get the plaque then cancel (28 days notice) then buy it as and when.

Yeah I'm not too fussed about the cube either, that said I'm not fussed about the Galaxy-X. I really love the Galaxy class design but I don't feel that the additions they made to the design made it look any better in fact I feel they made it look worse.

I don't mind the third nacelle too much, the only thing that irks me are the "antennae" for lack of a better word by the bridge. Even more funny in STO since Cryptic think they're cannons.
