Everyday UFP recruits more members, all from different worlds, different backgrounds, different rules and like every galactic government, this can provide problems in the way people interact with each other.

In an effort to make the joining and general interaction between members smoother, Starfleet Personnel and Starfleet Command have combined their resources and started a RESPECT campaign.

Admiral Chris5626 had this to say on the project.

The {UFP} is growing at a higher rate than ever before in its history. Naturally with more members comes the possibility of more issues between those members and for the minority that don't behave properly to ruin the experience of others.

In response SFC has developed RESPECT a community led programme aimed at allowing the community to police itself in matters of unacceptable behavior. RESPECT isn't about rank or position it is about defining and upholding a social standard for everyone in the {UFP}.

At current this campaign features: specialist codes of conduct for SFC members, command officers, department and division officers, admins/moderators and standard members. Training and development resources for SFC members, command officers and department and division officer.
