Ok, I got this PM out of no where from a banned member, seems kinda strange to me, so I am posting this to let higher ups know about it (just not sure where to post this actually, so put it here, feel free to move this to another forum part if wanted). It's likely that the message was sent before the user was banned. Banned accounts have no access to the forums.

Just to quickly inform you guys, the topic has been moved to IA Support.
It was discovered yesterday afternoon that a user/robot had registered, and had begun to send out Spam Private Messages to numerous members on the forum. The situation was noticed by a moderator of Internal Affairs, and took the appropriate action of banning the user/bot. This explains why you're receiving PMs from a banned user.
Internal Affairs again, warns members to be cautious of those abusing the forum system and reminds those not to click suspicious links. If you do come across these sorts of posts and messages, do not hesitate to contact a member of Internal Affairs immediately, some of you all ready did which is good.
