Hi all I just found this info and not sure if you allready seen it. But some who played characters in star trek shows are working on a new series thats going to play out around ten years after USS Voyager returned to earth.
persons behind this project and playing the same characters as they did in there own series are.
Walter Koenig as Admiral Chekov
Tim Russ as Tuvok
Robert Picardo as Dr. Lewis Zimmerman
Garrett Wang as Harry Kim
Gary Graham as Ragnar
Richard Herd as Admiral Paris
These are just a few of the persons behind this project.

Sounds cool and having Star Trek actors to back it gives it good credit.
However while I think it's cool to finally see Chekov as an Admiral, it's post Voyager so he would have been 133 when Voyager made it home...why would he still be serving in Starfleet?
And yes I did look up the Stardates for Chekov's birth and when Endgame took place

Sounds nice but they have a lot of work to do I think, such as the uniforms, the one in that video looked a bit too baggy and a bit unprofessional for an officer, but yeah, Chekov seems a bit old to still be serving, maybe he's just aged well.

Oh and Grant Imahara is in the cast apparently, so that will be nice to see.
I remain somewhat skeptical about the story, but I'd still watch it to see how it is, it'd be nice to see Tuvok again.

It's important to reference that this is a fan made series and is not officially Star Trek since CBS owns the right to that.
So that means alot of the tech the mainstream series get this one won't and thus will probably lack tech and alot of other resources. For one the video seemed kinda not 'well-made' could have been so much more well done. And I'm sure they'll have to get the OK from CBS and Paramount to use alot of things in their series that is copyrighted. I'm gonna remain skeptical until I see more and a well done pilot but still. I agree with most here, how is Chekov a Admiral during this time? I suppose its like seeing DeForest Kelly on TNG as an Admiral but still he was super old, so how is Chekov out living him.
I'll give it props that it is a fan based series with heavy weight actors from the Star Trek universe but I'm not sure how far it'll go or if it'll take off.

They also did Star Trek: Of Gods and Men, which was awesome. If you want to get an idea of this might be like you should go and watch it, it's free to view on YouTube. As for Renegades they start shooting in a few weeks last I heard.

Little nit: If they're renegades "hunted like outlaws" why do they have a uniform?
