thanks for the comments guys. and to answer the question about the ordenery view screen. I have thought on that abit and think I have an idea. I am thinking of planing of having a holograpichal viewscreen that will be placed right behind the "arm" to the helm. so whan a incoming transmision will the viewscreen turn on like a holo program. will show you later what I mean. like they say a picture says more the a 1000 words. so stay tuned for more

Anyway, the bridge layout is very nice. The helm concept I'm still a little shaky on, but I'll wait until I can see a 3D view.

okej I am pretty proud in this. I am trying to find good tutorials for mmodeling in 3ds MAX and stumbeld upon a tutorial for making phaser beams. so I tryed it and ended up with this. it is still abit flaw but it was my first attempt

still hope you like my feble attempt on this who knows in a future animation what can happen.....

okej I admit now when I have learnt how to make phaser beams I could not hold my self. so here is a battle between the flag ship seperated and two renegade Raptor class shuttles. so I hope you like the first battle the flag ship are in

I think you possibly need to enlarge the size of the phasers, since at the moment, it looks rather disproportional.

Otherwise, it's a nice effect that you could use for wallpapers and stuff? for the future.

Looks sharp! One thing I don't get is a sense of depth though, because it seems like the phaser archs are coming from both below and under the ship and only one shuttle is firing. Yet the ship isn't tilted at all... so looks a little off.

tea I know it is a bit plain in its work I am trying to make a shield bubble around the ships that I haven't got the hang on yet

okej I am learning more every day now. here is a new picture not 100% done yet but if you look cloasly you can see the shields on the ship parts and the shuttels still needs improving like the shields and removing the shadows of the phaser beams
