Hey all,
I recently decided that I wanted to get an original Nintendo Gameboy for nostalgia's sake, but I wanted to be able to use it in the dark and for it to have a personal flare! So this is the outcome after a little modding:

Needless to say, the camera didn't pick up the backlit screen well.
Despite how it appears in the pictures above, the image quality of the backlit lcd is crystal clear. I was really pleased with how my little project turned out and plan to do a couple more just for the fun of it. If anyone has any game recommendations feel free to let me know. Of course I quickly picked up Pokemon blue and also discovered that Star Trek: 25th Anniversary is a shockingly difficult and infuriating game

I was actually planning on getting that one at some point. I had a brief look at it on youtube and it certainly does look ridiculously difficult
