Hey Guys.. I have a question or two. I apologize if this is not the right section of the forum, I wasn't sure exactly where this would go.
I haven't been playing very long and while I feel I have picked up the mechanics of the game fairly well, the Fleet system is still a bit of a mystery to me. There is a Ship I would like to get and it costs 20,000 Fleet Credits (Fleet Assault Cruiser.) Now right now I have about 600 or so Fleet Marks that I have earned by just doing random matches at Starbase 24. I know that I have to somehow trade these Marks in for Credits, but I can't seem to find anything that tells me how to do that or how many I need. So my questions are:
1. How do I get Fleet Credits?
2. How many Fleet Marks do I need to get a ship that's 20k Credits?
I assume that these fleet events are the way you get marks and you trade the Marks for credit, but for the life of me I have no idea how. I know it has something to do with giving the Marks to the Fleet, but again, I don't know how to do that.
I'm sure this answer is obvious to most people, but somehow I'm not getting it. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. :mrgreen:

Hiya SeaOfSorrows,
In a quick nutshell, Fleet Marks are used to "fund" fleet projects which in turn are converted into Fleet Credits.
I'm not sure what the conversion ratio is, but it isn't too bad.
You need to open up the Fleet Menu and go to Holdings. Under there, you will see "Starbase", "Mine", "Embassy", etc. Click on one of those and you will see the projects. From there just click on a project and find one that requires Fleet Marks.

I was able to get the Credits I needed for the ship, thanks all for the tips.
I didn't realize that I have to be lvl 50 to use it so have to wait a bit longer, but no biggie there. Does our fleet have a Tier 5 Ship Yard? I couldn't find that listed anywhere?

Usually the 1st Fleet's projects fill up quickly, as we have more people there as well as most things fully upgraded. So that means no primary projects tend to be queued up for the Embassy, or Mine.
I recommend jumping to 2nd or 3rd Fleet for more contribution opportunities since neither the Starbase nor Mines are complete, which means primary projects will be queued up often. Once you have enough Fleet Credits, you can return to the 1st Fleet to buy things.

Sorry I wasn't clear, I mean actually transfer from one in-game Fleet to the other.
File a request, though you should probably check if there's a relevant officer available in-game first.

you can return to the 1st Fleet to buy things.
I don't recommend this. Earlier today I had 15k Fleet Credits, and went from Main Fleet to 2nd Fleet, lost all my fleet credits. I switched fleets to earn more credits in 2nd fleet. But it does appear that you lose all credits upon leaving a fleet.
