    So so true, it also applies to PC gamers who seem even more obsessed having games run on "Ultra" graphic setting.

    The PC 'Master Race' are a group that tends to annoy me as well. I have a high spec gaming PC and a very high spec gaming laptop but I also own games consoles. Yes the computers can deliver better graphics and a higher frame rate but to me that doesn't make a game. I personally think some games just suit console better than PC and visa versa.

    GoldenEye for the N64 is still one of the most fun FPS ever and it's quite some way short of running in full HD at a solid 60 FPS. By most technical measures the Wii was the worst piece of hardware of its generation but play 4 player Mario Kart or Smash Bros and you will probably have yourself a hell of a lot of fun.

    Great games are about the GAME not the format they are on.

    Indeed, yet it's one of those things that people will endlessly argue about. I see no need to compare the two formats, especially when for the most part they serve two distinct purposes. Yahtzee just amuses me greatly lol. I have no consoles, but that's simply because at the moment I'm unwilling (and unable) to afford both. I chose PC gaming over console gaming as it was a necessity that I have a device to write up essays and book reviews for my degree any way. Obviously I couldn't do that on a console, so it was an easy choice.

    Also, both formats have an undesirable aspect to their community:

    Console: Stereotypical CoD yobbos who have (unfortunately) become synonymous with console gaming
    PC: Keyboard smashing LoL players who spoil everything for everyone.

    It's a sad fact that unpleasant people truly are everywhere Tongue Out.
