My Star Trek Renders/pictures

Hi all, I've decided to Split my WIP Model pictures and my renders up into two different post's since they are in 2 different areas, Anywho, these are pictures i have done for my self or others using my ship's i've created in 3d studio max for the good ol' Star Trek Bridge Commander, I Will State this now, the Galaxy Class used in a couple is by Wiley Coyote, and the J'J' Abrams Constitution is by Baz1701 both from the Bridge Commnader comunity, you can always find us over here Star Trek Bridge Commander Forums some pictures are actually In Game, others are Pure renders that i've made using 3D Max, Photoshop and After effects ok, so here we go

there is nothing stopping me making an install pack for all of them once i'm done release it and all who play bc could install it together so we can do multiplayer?

Damn I envy your modelling skills!! And I haven't even got to try texturing yet. xD (I unintentionally started another ship this weekend. xD )

Thank you very much, having alot of fun playing with lights adding on her that shouldn't be there, Like the Registry lights on fed ships i have one of them at every 45 degrees at the moment, looks quite good tbh

Sounds like a lot of lights. The way they lit up the registries from one light in the movies never seemed right to me.

What graphic program you are using? Have you try using High resolution light? They look awesome but some have some light issues. specially the second one. Looks like carved out of wood instead of metal, maybe using a better skin.

i'm using 3d studio max, Photoshop and After effects, i don't know about high resolution light, i am still learning with lighting and its a process that is alot of trial and error

Awesome 3d studio Max is an awesome program, there are a lot of tutorials out there, when using lightning you can try to use when skinning HDRI image to give that more authentic look that makes the hull more bright and lit. I did some graphic design few years back. I need to start again.
