[Stryker]

We all have a history typically in the screen name we hide behind, the bigger question is, why did you choose yours?

I can first start by saying something about mine. It came from the 1993 video game 'Major Stryker' published by Apogee back in the day. It was one of my favorite computer games back in the day and in alot of ways still is. I took the name 'Stryker' shortly after a short lived screen name I had during my Quake II days on MSN Zone when the game was hot online. The name stuck and I went with it throughout my online career including previous last big gaming community I was apart of prior to UFP many years ago called CNCAmmo which was a Command & Conquer website a subsidiary of the much larger GameSpy network that I was a Global Moderator of for several years. I kept the name up and including to present. It's more or less a small piece of history of something I once played and enjoyed so many years ago.

[Niikama]

Niikama is a fairly recent invention. It started on APB-Reloaded when i was making an Asian character for the Enforcers. I was browsing Japanese names and familynames/surnames on a website and came across Nikama.

To make it slight unique I added an I. I have been playing under a couple of screen names and felt that a refreshment were in order

Played WoW for 6 years and was known as the mage Relativity. Yes, from the time travel episode of Voyager. Later for other websites, forums etc, I started using my real name.

[Kantazo]

Kantazo is a twist in a slang Spanish word for a hit with the edge of your hand, like a kung fu move.

[Three of Seven]

Well, Seven of Nine was one of my favourite characters and I wanted to play as a Liberated Borg in STO, so I wanted to come up with a name that was similar in that sense, so that's how I got my name here, I don't think there was anything special about the numbers I picked

Although quite coincidentally, the Liberated Borg boff I got came with the name Five of Seven, so that was nice.

Rev is my nickname from graduate school. It comes from the fact that I became ordained through the Universal Life Church while I was in college. So when I was looking for a new XBox gamer tag a few years ago, I decided on CallMeTheRev, which is what I use across all my gaming identities.

Cehus came from SWG's name generator. I liked it so I kept it.

My name was not chosen by me but rather given to me by a few of my fellow forums admins as part of an inside joke. The name has stuck ever since.

[Kains]

The handle I usually use is Rook, from having used an icon of the chess piece to represent me for ages in everything from code to games.

Kain, the original Kain, was a womanizing flirt on Ultima Online back it's heyday, and my first character in an MMO. A dashing knight in shining plate mail, always ready to dash in and fight anything in game with a sword, even stuff that was designed not to be melee'd. I even had the character often drinking while doing something dumb, as it often added to the performance...

Derrick Kains came about from me wanting to do something slightly different for STO, and when I first approached the game I was thinking it was going to be more RP oriented. The area to enter your character bio meant I went back and changed the name to something a bit more serious, and even wrote bios for my bridge officers.

[Torinth]

The name Torinth has actually stuck with me for the last 4 years, I started roleplaying on various games when I was 14 with a few other names which I can't for the life of me remember, aaaaaaand then I got involved in Star Trek gaming, in which I chose to stick with the name Torinth B'Lor, as it was a name that I really liked to use and sounded nice with the backstory of the character that I've used for the last 4 years.

That boys and girls is the story of how the name Torinth came to be, short and sweet.

When I was around 5-6 years old, a friend of mine also called Adam had a nickname, and I really wanted one so I came up with Adster - this never caught on so it was long forgotten.

However, this combined with the year of my birth (1994) created Adster94 simple xD

[Seeker]

I used to play back in the day Star Wars: Jedi Academy and as a Jedi I kinda liked the name Seeker which was initially 'The Seek3r' but looking at ranks within the UFP, I am glad I got rid of 'the' since well I don't think it would sound too good. But It has stuck and well a few people in the fleet have nicknamed me Seekie or Seek sooo I guess yep. That's how I came to be.
