    Hey everyone,

    I am planning to get a new PC for Christmas so that I will by able to run Star Citizen, so I would like to know from those that can already run the Hangar Module what kind of system they have and how well the Hangar perform on your system (though it still unoptimized code)?

    You may want to consider using the dog-fighting module as a benchmark. The hangar module is just a small map with very little going on. You should probably wait for some graphics-intensive content to test.

    True, but I was hoping to get a new PC before the Dogfighting as my current PC doesn't meet the minimum specs for the Hangar.

    Dodgers, what is the issue you have with the hangar module? Is it giving you a graphics card warning? A buddy of mine runs the hangar fine on an older dual core system. There is some modding you can do to get the hangar running on older systems. Its just the cry engine Smile Lemme know what you have and ill make a mod for you.

    Thanks for the offer Shakken, but I found a thread on the Star Citizen forums and was able to get 2 extra files for the Cry Engine that makes it work with my Direct X 10, Gforce 9500GS.

    Still with a 2.6GHz Core 2 Quad processor, 4GB RAM(max) and a 512MB GPU my FPS is still shockingly low in the hangar on the low settings. Yet not much worse than Battlefield 3.

    If only my Motherboard wasn't at its max RAM, I could possibly upgrade a bit.

    Where are you planning on getting your computer from then Dodgers? I run a Quad Core Processor which is overclocked to 4.6Ghz, 8GB DDR3 RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2 GB. In the hanger it runs well on high settings but I'm not so sure I'll be running it on high in Dogfighting or the full release. Tongue Out
