Hey guys, I was browsing today and game across a really fascinating game that's on Kickstarter right now and is supposedly due out within 6 months. It reminds me in a lot of ways of EVE Online and Sins of A Solar Empire, with bits of Armada 2 as well.

Just found out, the art director for Novus, Alexis Sabatovich was actually the original lead artist for Sins as well

Awesome! After the livestream last night, I have become even more excited for this game! Sins but in MMO form is just epic! Bring it on!

Novus has already reached it's first stretch goal for Kickstarter, at $100000, and the developers have released a news update, showing off the WIP Kraken Capital Ship and outlined the details of the game's AI, and announced their $120000 stretch goal, Space Probes and Radar Stations

Is it just me, or would you have thought they'd already have Radar Stations, and Space Probes? but I am so syked for this game now

Yeah I understand what you mean there. But hey, we will surely meet the requirement for them both so we will get them regardless

Hey Guys! The Novus devs have released another Kickstarter update, discussing NPC factions in the game.

There will apparently be 3 NPC factions for each race in the game and each of those factions will be divided into 4 sub factions.

The example giving was the human Zealot faction, which is made up of the Automatists, Demon Hunters, Law, and Missionaries.

Finally, they also released a picture of an in-game stress test:
