Hey guys, thanks!!
I actually did make one last night, couldn't sleep so I stayed up for a bit.
I have to say yes its seems much.. I don't know how to describe it, interactive? I'm more involved in the story that's for sure.
Although I will say the battles are a tad.. um. insane? Considering I've wiped the floor with Miranda's sabers and a damn typhoon battleship in my puny little starter bird of prey lol!
I'll have to see if I have the time tonight to go through the Klingon application, still in the middle of finals.

Smelly Klingons that they are 
the good folks of the House of Kular can still be pretty helpful. I barely seem to have enough time to grind on my main, but I have a romulan alt in HoK who might be able to team with you if you need a hand.

Hi, sorry for the delay been busy.
I'm Auron Furoshi.. I think that's how its spelt rofl. My corp fell apart also, been looking for something new, was in null for a bit but the corps there were renting and it turned into drama.
Right now I'm sitting in rens and just training basically, My main is a 90milsp cap pilot and my alt is basically a station trader.. need to train a cyno alt at some point.
Finding something good to do would be good, not really any reasons to log in recently.
As for star trek, I'll just the forums but in case I cant find out, I also just created a romulan character, like right now, Kinala, do we have a fleet for romulans? As much as the Klingon was cool unless I'm mistaken only the romulan character gets the choice to ally with another faction? as in allowing you to have ships from 2 races rather then one.. and since my fed guy is already max leveled I figured id work on a the other races.

So when you create a Romulan you get a Romulan specific storyline and series of missions. At level 10 one of the ones you get has you ally with the Federation or KDF; this has minimal effect on Romulan content, but once you choose a side you join the same fleets as characters created for that faction. You can also use that factions non admiral ships, but there are Romulan specific ships as well to use while leveling up and a foll roster at VA (since you can't use allied admiral level ships).
Given this setup, we do not have separate Romulan only fleets (we used to have a Romulan division but even that was absorbed since it didn't serve much purpose under the system we have in STO). Given that, if you choose to ally with the Federation, you can join any of the three UFP fleets, if you join the KDF side (which you should totally do since we have disruptors), you can join the HoK with that character.
