    I have particularly enjoyed the Titan series, with the first being one of my favourites.

    Thanks Torinth! It is quite a good series so far. Enough so at least that I'm excited to keep reading on.

    Neotrident - how does the rest of the series so far compare to the first? More drama, excitement? More action? More relationships? I'm only completed book two.

    Gotta say, this is one of the better Titan novels. Certainly better than The Red King. Orion's Hounds is pretty good too, but Sword of Damocles just seemed to drag on and on

    Good review very entertaining.

    I read Taking Wing when it first came out and for the first few Titan books was getting them as soon as they were released, I thought the series started with a great deal of promise but for me I found it very difficult to stick with it.

    One of the things that I found difficult were the number of new characters to get used to especially with it being such an alien crew. DS9 re-launch also had a number of new characters to get used to but I felt they introduced them more gradually which made it much easier for me to get in to the stories, half the time with Titan I kept having to remind myself who certain people were which really broke the immersion.
