Away Team Leader
CL4 - Tier 1 (Lieutenant JG)
An Away Team Leader is an entry level position within SFO but a key one, Away Team Leaders (ATLs) provide weekly events for the community and specifically within Star Trek Online. ATLs need to demonstrate a level of maturity suitable for a leadership role but more specifically a high level of creativity. A successful candidate would need to develop and maintain unique exciting events, that being said regular gaming events are still required and an officer would need to have good overall knowledge of STO.
JOB DUTIES
- Run a minimum of one event per week
- Write After Action Reports on the success of events
- As with all SFO staff, invite and promote members of the community
- Maintain a suitable level of activity both in-game and on the forums
- The successful candidate of this role would report to Wixiban / Neo Trident.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- It is required that for this role, you must have passed and completed the Entrance Exam, Administrative Exam and the Command Exam..
- Is it a CL5 position? No
PLEASE NOTE: If it is a CL5 position, the successful candidate will have to sign the Command Position Agreement before entering the role.

From my experience this is one of the best positions in our community to start off in. I had started in this position and I believe most of the COs and XOs have also. Certainly something that shouldn't be missed if you love the game and want to organise and run events, generally have fun with your fleet mates. :mrgreen:
