    I'm not Borg expert, but canon wise, I would think the Ferengi would be just a drone.

    Now a question to ponder is... are borg creative? Or do they just use their vast assimilated knowledge, analyze if their past experiences and re-perform their past successful responses to said quandary?

    I think creativity is certainly a form of individual expression. I also think that all people have the ability to be creative, however since individuality is the antithesis of that upon which the Collective/Hive Mind is based, I would say no, Borg, as long as they are connected to the Hive Mind, cannot be creative.

Hey dude (voice 1 coming from an assimilated Terran) that smile stinks, show her teeth, NO the smile is fine (voice 2 coming from assimilated Bajoran), it looks spiritual.     Hmm... now I *could* imagine that borg drone painting a masterpiece, if as CallmetheRev stated, that drone was separated from the Hive/Collective and they were an artist prior to being 'assimilated'.

    Now if the Borg drone wasn't disconnected from the Hivemind... then yes, I could certainly see those voices and about a few billion others interfering with the poor drone's creative art process. Smile

    How many canon examples do we have of people living normally (subjective) after being 'De-assimilated'?

    Two examples that come to mind are Picard and Seven of Nine. Picard had a long life prior to becoming a drone thus he was "Jean-Luc" post de-borgification. Seven was a child and thus never really developed and didn't really have much of an identity. Thus, she was Seven of Nine... and child-like in interpersonal relations as she hadn't really developed them as Picard had.

    Pretty interesting stuff to ponder and very Star Trek. Smile
