I'm personally not one to be outwardly outspoken, the bane and/or virtue of being an introvert I suppose. In Torinth's recent interview with Lynxmukka inspired me to make this thread (the article which you can read -HERE-). One thing of note that I read in this article is how many people freely volunteer their free time to administer this community and provides us a place of leisure. It's a fact that like Lynxmukka mentioned in the article is so easily forgotten. But perhaps in a way that's also a testament of a job well done! It is this dedicated volunteer work from all these individuals that make this community not only work but thrive.

And speaking as a member of this community, I wanted to extend my appreciation to each and every one of you who have freely given you time and energy towards the management and betterment of this community.

A big fat thank you!

Im with you, I never gave it any though how much work must go into running a group like this but now I realize that even though this is purely for recreation, it takes a lot of work to keep this all working nicely. Managing the fleet, putting events together, the website alone you can tell took a lot of work to make, and it shows. So good work everyone who keeps this community together, most people dont think too much about it, but I know that everyone here really appreciates it.

I'd have to say so aswell, some of the people in this Community put in so much hard work, that any of looking in would be amazed, but to them they've done it for so long it's become second nature, yet it's still amazing.

It does indeed feel like second nature to many of us. Personally i find it a pleasure doing what i do, as i am sure many members who give their time freely do also.

Whilst everyone contributes to the community in their own way I think sometimes it is too easy to forget or take for granted those that put in time, effort and money to allow us to have this lovely website, our own servers, regular hosted in-game events, interesting forum activity, competitions etc.

We can always be better and we should strive to be the best that we can be but it is important to not lose sight of the fact that UFP is provided as a free service thanks to the financial contributions of donators and the hard work and time of those pitching in to assist with the administration.

If anyone has the ability to spare a little of their time then I would really encourage them to check out the COMMUNITY POSITIONS area.

If not then don't forget that you can always suggest ideas via the PROPOSALS SYSTEM or share your thoughts and feedback via the FEEDBACK FORM.
