Wife and I bought in as well, alongside a couple of real life friends. Still getting a number of people saying the 'It's not an Elder Scrolls game', which is utter nonsense to me as I've found myself completely sucked into yet another Elder Scrolls game.
Granted I haven't had as much time as I would like to play, no real surprise there, but already I've been a pirate, saved some hippie's life tree thingy, and cleared a couple of dungeons, including fighting a nifty Yuan-Ti/Half snake chick thing.
If you really enjoyed Elder Scrolls games, I do recommend it. Give it a little time, as there are a few differences to make it work for an MMO (Obviously not everything is lootable, otherwise every town would already be striped bare).
And if anyone is interested, my current character is Derrick Kains@switzer33, a dashing adventurer who is usually accompanied by a gaggle of sexy ladies.

I'm with you Kains in that I think they did a really good job of converting the Elder Scrolls experience in to a MMO. I haven't had a chance to play it that much and whilst it isn't just Skyrim with thousands of people I do think it is still a very authentic Elder Scrolls experience.

I've been considering taking the plunge and getting this, the beta was pretty good but at the time I wasn't sure if it was worth the subscription but I'm starting to change my mind on that. As for the people who say it's not an Elder Scrolls game, what I played during the beta felt like a TES game to me, but I went into it knowing that as an MMO and not a single player RPG that there were bound to be some things that lessoned it in comparison to Skyrim.

My friends and I are on Dagerfall. Wifey always does the Paladin thing, partially as an offset to my particular style of character development (I always picture her character cleaning up after me), so Dagerfall seemed like the obvious choice.
From my understanding the factions don't mean much after a point, mainly for pvp.

Nice deal mate. I'm enjoying it too...apart from the Giant Snakes, I HATE snakes, first it was giant spiders in Skyrim *shudder* and now snakes too...why'd it have to be snakes

Really? Im having a blast there! I just finished the main story for the zone and am mopping up all the side quests before I move on. I hear the next zone really sucks though.
