Hello There

Hi all,

I've been recommended here by a colleague of mine, and thought I'd pop by and say hello. Whilst I have never seen an episode of Star Trek () I am looking for a good MMO to play - hence why Star Trek Online was recommended to me.

I am Male, interested in all kinds of games from FPS to MMO to Strategy to Puzzle. I have a good quality gaming PC, an Xbox 360 Elite, a Playstation 3 and a 3DS XL (PokéMon for the win).

I am a member of two other gaming clans, Team Europe and The Elder Sages Guild. Team Europe is primarily a Battlefield clan, and The Elder Sages Guild is for The Elder Scrolls Online, which I have been in the Beta for.

I still live at home despite being almost 21 years old, I live in England in the United Kingdom, I have a twin sister living next door with whom I share 15 snakes, 10 lizards, 5 spiders, 2 dogs, 8 rabbits, 6 guinea pigs, 2 ferrets and a turtle.

Hope you'll enjoy your time here! Star Trek Online is a really great game, all things considered, and UFP is the best fleet to roll with in terms of community and cooperative spirit.

Thanks Remissus Yeah, we kinda have more animals than most small zoos

Just downloading Star Trek Online now, so I should be online once that and Novus Aeterno have finished downloading tomorrow evening.

Unacceptable! I joke of course.

Although, by joining this community you may well find yourself getting into Trek more in general and you'll probably find yourself exposed to Star Trek episodes relatively often. We'll make a fan of you yet!

That is my sincerest hope, Dentari. I have been wanting to watch Star Trek for many years and have never been bothered. I trust that being the the presence of fans that my own interest will grow!

Quite a few people will jump down my throat when I say this, but if you're looking to get into Trek: start with Enterprise. It'll provide some good roots as to what (and I stress) some of star trek is like. It's 4 seasons, totaling to about 100ish episodes. From there, I'd skip right over to the TOS movies (Star Trek 2-6), then get started on TNG. By that point, you'll either love it or hate it.

Season one and two are a bit rough, but from there on out, it's some fantastic science fiction. Once your done with TNG, get started on Deep Space 9 (AKA: The best Star Trek Series) Some episodes will make you laugh, others will make you shed manly tears. There's the occasional bad episode, but they are few and far in between.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your time with us!

That's what I'm currently doing with a friend of mine. He is only at the middle of TNG Season 1 and already loves Star Trek (he asked me to buy him a combadge :mrgreen
