I think the best way is still playing through the episodes honestly.

Purchasing Skill or XP bonus pools will help you along with your goal. Otherwise, as Mazoue said, story content will be the best way to get you there.

The Red Alerts that usually pop up are still XP boost zones so keep an eye on those when you fly around sector space.

As well as an XP Consultant, that will give a slight boost too, teaming up with a 700 day vet will also grant you a 5% skill boost.

i have an alt that leveled just by doffing from 11-50 in just over a month, with only a few extra blue doffs from my main.

Doff leveling is easy but from my experience not very quick unless you combine it with missions too.

Yeah, I'm leveling three characters now, and I found the quickest is a combination Doffing/Missions/Skill Boosts - do the time (4 or 8 hr) ones not the amt (2,000) (if you can afford them)

My Rom tac went from 4 to 50 in about 2 weeks

If you can sent aside some time you can get a starting character to max level in 2 or 3 days if you are prepared to put some serious time in and to buy skill boosts.

One question though, it is an alt or your main? If it is your main character I would strongly suggest not rushing it and trying to enjoy the story. At end game you will find yourself just grinding the same content over and over so I wouldn't be too eager to rush past all the content that is in the game if I were you.

Totally agree with Chris on the enjoying the story, the views, and all the dialog the first time through.

Other than that, Doffing is a huge boost as well. I always try to maximize that when leveling up alts.

I second this. I have an alt that has been doing nothing but DOFF missions. Already into level 26. 15 levels through pretty much nothing but DOFF missions (and party patrol for the anniversary).

I support that you should enjoy all of the content. I rushed level in less than three day period and am regretting it ever since. I plan on using my alt off and on to enjoy some content and my 50, well, we'll see where I go from there.

You have some good sources there but I also recommend doing the Patrol Missions. They are relatively quick and give a generous amount of XP. Also the foundry missions, you can either go legit and use the proper foundry missions or find a lucrative easy one that has managed to hide under the No Rewards system.

In either case if you were to assign Doffs whenever you can, play an episode, find an RA or join a PUG PVE Arena, do a system patrol rinse and repeat. You'll be to Captain in no time. Also Traelus Satellite repair is good source if you can survive the Cardy, Dominion ambush at the end.
