    So maybe I am totally wrong but I think this are the consoles we will get when they make the C-Store Dyson ships available.

    ugh. my impeccable timing strikes again. I just got the vesta, lol, as I needed an upgrade to a good ship. It might have been prudent for me to wait.

    Oh well, I'm enjoying my vesta a ton. I guess ships are like computers, there's always going to be a newer, better model at some point Smile

    To be entirely honest Trekster, the Vesta is still a downright fantastic ship, with a ridiculous amount of options. Personally I think it is still the superior starship:

    1. All of these fancy toys take up console slots, reducing either your number of Tac consoles (Yeah right), or your Science-y options, which begs the question as to why you're running a science ship then.
    2. Once all of the other science ships get the secondary deflector you'll have even more options.
    3. The Vesta at least looks Star Trekish

    All in my humble opinion of course. I have both sitting there waiting, but I personally believe the cool down on all of these toys will be too great to employ for anything other than 'just for fun'.

    The Dyson in the FE is pimped with both sets, and all the extra powers seemed quite usable.
    Of course, there's no telling how effective they will be in end game content.
