    We have some really creative members and I think it is a great shame that we don't see more members sharing their stories or artwork. Hopefully the short story competition will help to increase awareness as well as encourage more members to try giving it a go and sharing their creativity with the wider community.

    A real shame that I don't think I'm able to take part in the next short story competition. Though I will certainly read what everyone writes. I share the same hopes as Chris, it amazes me what talent we have in this community. Kudos to Caymen and DeuZige for trying to show this. :mrgreen:

    I too hope to see more members participate in these short story competitions. I encourage everyone to take a shot at the current competition; unfortunately my university work load has reached critical level so I'm not sure if I'll be able to take part this time around.

    Again, if you're on the fence then I strongly advise that you take the leap. The process of crafting a story and watching it come to fruition is extremely gratifying.

    This community is full of diverse and creative people, who are talented writers (whether you know it or not!). I would encourage anyone that has ever thought, "what if?" to participate. Whether it's an idea that you just thought of or something that has been on your mind for years...you would be enriching our community and our enjoyment of Trek by sharing it with us. As Dentari said, take the leap. You won't regret it!

    I can only agree with the sentiments expressed above. At the moment i've written over 20.000 words for the current round of the competition and my entry is now a whopping...

    2 words. The title.

    See the words i wrote formed something which was far beneath the level of quality that an entry at the UFPlanets.com deserves and so i deleted them again. After hitting submit i'm giving it another go!
