Hi Everyone

I joined a couple of days ago and thought I better get a message out to say Hi!!

Just read a few other threads created by Quellan & 559II and I'm the same as them, been a fan since before I can remember. Try and get some STO time when I can and would love to be part of a good fleet also seen the Elite Force RPG-X would be good to know if many of you are having a go on that because I loved doing some RPG's on that a few years ago.

Anyway Hi again, really glad I found the UFP.

Welcome to the Community Gary I'm glad your finding your way around, I actually head up the RPG-X side of the Community and it's great to see people who actively want to get involved, numbers are few but we're hoping to get some more events in the swings soon, if you have any roleplay ideas I'd love to hear them via PM if you want

Hi Torinth. Yeah I will drop you a message later on, I used to be part of an IRC based SIM YEARS ago, and it was great but over time numbers dropped and we had trouble arranging a good meeting time that worked for everyone.

When I found RPG-X I managed to have a few good sessions on that, so would be great to get a group of us on there. I've lost the install files though and found the download link on here but it didn't work

STO is great but still not the same, and some of the ships that had been created were great. Hopefully we will sort something out soon.

Yeah, there is nothing like RPG-X out there just yet, you can get completely lost within the ship and immersed within a roleplay, and what was the problem with the download link from here? you did use the correct one right? this one.

Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself it is very much appreciated. Always good to have another RPG-X fan around, in my opinion it is still the most authentic Star Trek experience around. All members can get RPG-X for free regardless of whether they own Elite Force or not although our installer has some stability issues which I believe are being worked on at the moment, hopefully when those issues are dealt with there will be a bit more activity for RPG-X fans to enjoy.

Hi. Thanks for all the welcome messages. I used to have the Elite Force Disk's but they got packed away somewhere as I've moved a few times over the last few years but was really clever and had ISO's of them to save digging the disk out every time..... unfortunately I was really stupid and didn't have them backed up so when my hard drive died so did they

Torinth I tried that link a few times over the last few days and failed every time, there was a report to admin link I found so I did that. Just tried today and it works hopefully I'll get that installed and get back on it this weekend, even if it is just for a walk around a ship on my own reminds me of certain quote "Something lonely about a ship without it's crew" anyone wanna guess who that was, there could be a prize and everything
