In STO you can choose between several types of Space and Ground Sets in this thread we will take a closer look a the sets and I will try to explain why you should use this set over an other.

Space Sets:

Aegis, Borg, Absolute Zero, Dyson, Jem'Hadar, M.A.C.O, Honor Guard, Nukara Appropriated Munitions, Nukara Strikeforce Technologies, Omega Adapted Borg Technology, Omega Force, Protonic Arsenal, Reman Prototype, Romulan Prototype, Romulan Singularity Harness, Solanae Hybrid Technologies, Temporal Warfare, Silent Enemy, Fluidic Counter Assault, Counter Command Ordnance
