    I think I have almost hit all the requirements for ESF (XIII VR on all space gear and tier V all reps) but I have a question about ground gear. I do have the complete set of the KHG gear but I was wondering does everyone use that rep set for elite ground? Are other gear sets used or acceptable? Doesn't matter either way, just wanted to check before I start investing to upgrade the KHG set to XIII.

    The only advantage to having a three piece MACO, KHG or OMEGA set was to has the integrated remodulator. Now with the TR-116B and shotgun, borg adaption is irrelevant so there are many other and better combinations of shields and armor you can use.

    So, should I bother upgrading the KHG set because to be honest the only reason I would be doing so is because it is listed as a requirement for ESF. I don't really care for the set, especially the gun. I do have the Cochrane shotgun.

    Honestly for killing Borg right now TR-116B is your baby. After that the best armour and shield you can get (Best two piece set bonus depending on what you're doing) is your best bet.
